Hon. Michael Siarr (Ontario):
Mr. Speaker, I wish to direct a question to the right hon. Prime Minister. Will he look into the possibility of taking out of the supplementary estimates now under consideration the item or resolution providing for the increase of 15 per cent in war veterans' allowances, to see whether it can be given royal assent, so the war veterans of the country will not be deprived of these benefits at this time, and so their receipt of the benefits could be expedited.

Inquiries of the Ministry Right Hon. L. B. Pearson (Prime Minister):
I shall be glad to look into that, Mr. Speaker. There will not be any delay, because once the estimate is passed I believe it is to be antedated.
