Because they are

spread out all over the Dominion. They have been doing splendid work; they have recruited about five battalions in the Northwest through their own efforts. Thi= incorporation is not intended to clash in any way with any of the other institutions to which my hon. friend refers.

There is an army and navy organization of the Empire in Toronto; there are various army and navy organizations. We are asking for the name "The Army and Navy Veterans in Canada." By this name the organization will be distinguished from other organizations already existing.
