Mr. GARDINER:

What he said was that the hon. member for Qu'Appelle (Mr. Perley) quoted a statement of mine, and then he repeated it. I have the statement here as it was

made by the hon. member for Qu'Appelie. It reads:

It would be good advertising for the people of western Canada to market their wheat at a loss.

I say that that purported statement of mine quoted by the hon. member for Qu'Appelle and repeated by the hon. member for Rose-town-Biggar is not true.
