aware that several hundred civilian employees of the Department of National Defence across the nation, many of whom are veterans and many of whom are married men with families, are being laid off at the present time and being replaced by students under the Opportunities for Youth program? Further, if the answer is in the affirmative, what does the government plan to do about this deplorable situation?
