Mr. Speaker, I would like to direct a question to the Minister of Transport notice of which I have not given him.

Within the past few days two freighters collided on the St. Clair river and one of them sank right in the centre of the current. This is greatly disrupting traffic. Has any attempt been made to raise this vessel? What jurisdiction does Canada have in the matter?
