Mr. Speaker, at the present time we are contacting the provincial Ministers who have participated in the discussions with respect to the task force. Over the next 24 hours we will be meeting with the co-chairmen of the task force. I would hope that by the end of this week, or by the first of next week, we will announce the Government's response to the petrochemical task force.

Also I want to indicate to the Hon. Member that there is more exploration going on in Canada right now than at any particular time in any other country of the world. The Hon. Member is totally wrong and totally incorrect in his preamble. With respect to the particular project, we will give it our usual analysis and thrust if we think it is important for Canadians.

Also I can advise the Hon. Member that the Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources and I have met with the various principals of this project on two or three occasions and that analysis is going on right now with respect to the potential development benefits for Canada of the project.
