Mr. Lucien Lamoureux (Stormont):

I

should like to direct a question to the Minister of Finance. In view of the fact that the cyclical pay reviews for civil servants approved earlier this year by the then minister of finance provided for consideration on October 1, 1962, of the customs, immigration and postal classes, will the minister inform the house whether the proposed review will now be undertaken in spite of the austerity program?

Mr. Lucien Lamoureux (Stormont):

I wish to direct a question to the Minister of Mines and Technical Surveys. In view of impending legal proceedings resulting from the fact that

the Ontario-Quebec border east of Cornwall is still indefinite, would the minister advise whether early action is contemplated, in conjunction with provincial authorities, to fix this border?

Mr. Lucien Lamoureux (Stormont):

Mr. Speaker, I should like to direct a question to the Minister of Agriculture or to his parliamentary secretary. In view of current reports that the government plans to curtail the record of production testing program for dairy cattle, can the minister tell the house whether he is planning to limit or abolish this very essential service?
