Mr. D. F. Brown (Essex West):

May I direct a question to the Minister of Labour. Has the minister received a reply to his inquiry, of which he advised me on January 23, from the officials of the unemployment insurance commission as to whether medical and hospital premiums could be paid out of funds established by the Unemployment Insurance Act in addition to the regular benefits to which the unemployed are presently entitled?

Mr. D. F. Brown (Essex West):

Mr. Speaker, I should like to address a question

Inquiries of the Ministry to the Prime Minister. Is the Prime Minister now prepared to answer a question I asked on January 22? Perhaps I had better repeat the question. Has he received a report, requested by the U.A.W. international union, on the construction of an atomic energy plant at Monroe, Michigan; and if so, is the Prime Minister satisfied that the public safety is assured?

Right Hon. J. G. Diefenbaker (Prime

Minister): I will give the hon. gentleman an answer to that question tomorrow. Any documents there may be in connection with this matter I have not with me at the moment.
