In the French version there is inadvertently an error in one section which is now numbered as nine instead of twelve. The amendment is simply to correct the French version by substituting the word "twelve" for the word "nine".

Mr. Walker:
As a matter of fact, it was an error which was made during the last regime; the hon. member will be happy to know that. I believe the other place decided to amend the French version, and in so doing inadvertently got the numbers mixed. I believe Premier Duplessis drew it to the attention of the Department of Justice. The correction which is suggested by the bill before the house tonight will officially solve a very knotty problem.
