Mr. Siddon moved
that the bill be read the third time and passed.
He said: Madam Speaker, I will not proceed to read the title of the bill again to name and compliment each of the individual entitlement bands that have helped bring us to this historic day.
I just want to thank members of the House, particularly the critics of the opposition parties, for facilitating the swift passage of this very important piece of legislation.
It is a very complex matter designed for accountants and lawyers, but it has very significant meaning to the thousands of members of the 26 entitlement bands who will benefit from this legislation.

I compliment the treaty commissioner, Mr. Cliff Wright, the chief of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations, the premier of the province of Saskatchewan, all those who worked for the various jurisdictions who are parties to this agreement and I thank you, Madam Speaker, for facilitating the passage of this legislation.
