Order. I would ask the hon. member to discuss the resolution, which is in these words:
That it is expedient to bring in a measure to amend the Family Allowances Act, 1944, to shorten from three to one year the residence period required as one of the conditions of eligibility of a child, and also to remove the decreasing scale provided in the amount of allowance payable when more than four children are maintained.
