It would appear from the explanation given by the Minister of Public Works that there can be no doubt that this building was erected because the gov-eminent expected a larsre immigration of Japanese, Chinese and Hindus.

I find in a Quebec paper that some one has sent me, a report that a syndicate has leased a part of this property, or the old shops that were there, and it mentions that the syndicate was composed the Hon. S. N. Parent, Sir Charles Ross

M. P. Davis and others. May I ask if that is the case.
