Mr. MURPHY:

There is a stretch of

about 16 miles to complete although certain grading work has been done. As the hon. member knows the department is obligated to build a bridge over the Canoe river and that work will be completed this year under this program.

Mr. STEM7ART (Edmonton): How much

is being allocated for that?

Mr. MURPHY:

The wording of the item this year follows very closely the wording of the item last year. For the information of the hon. member for Rimouski may I say that last year the money was spent as indicated on national parks, historic sites and lands or property administered by the crown in the right of the dominion, and we propose to follow the same system this year.
