Mr. C6t6:

Mr. Speaker, I wish to put a question to the hon. member for Joliette. I want to make sure he is not misleading the House because I have some doubts in this regard.

The hon. member for Joliette referred to Senator Lamon-tagne and said he had blamed the government. Did he have a private conversation with Senator Lamontagne, since he mentioned his name, or was he simply quoting an interpretation from a paper? If it was a private conversation, I take it for granted that the hon. senator really blamed the government. But if this is an interpretation, I think that the member has misled this House as I have already heard him do.
