Mr. MEWBURN:

For organizing the

board, the care of machines, and drawing up regulations. It was first suggested that $500,000 would be required for the year, but the amount was cut down, and they think that $250,000 will more than cover it. It is only in the experimental stage as yet.

For re-organization of the Department of Public Printing and Stationery by the Civil Service Commission, $17,000.

Mr. MEWBURN:

This is in connection with the Act passed this session creating an Air Board. The Minister of Customs is chairman of the board, with which is associated the Department of Marine and Fisheries. The board is being organized to frame regulations with regard to aerial navigation in Canada, which it is hoped will develop on commercial lines.
