March 3, 1932 (17th Parliament, 3rd Session)

CON

Alfred Duranleau (Minister of Fisheries; Minister of Marine)

Conservative (1867-1942)

Mr. DURANLEAU:

I do not think these questions are proper. They are all questions of law and I do not think the minister is bound to answer them. There may be some differences between the two authorities, the provincial and the federal, and it will be for the courts to decide whether the provincial authorities or the federal government can regulate certain things within the boundaries of Ontario.
