Conservative (1867-1942)

Mr. J. CLANCY (Bothwell).

I think the statement made by the hon. gentlemen opposite that constant obstruction has taken place in this House is wholly unwarranted. The hon. gentlemen know perfectly well that we have had a prolonged session, and the First Minister knows as well as any one that we have had an amount of legislation unheard of in any other session of parliament. . When his supporters rise in their places and declare that the session has been prolonged by reason of obstruction, they make a statement wholly unwarranted.
