Mr. PECK:

Section 4 provides that any
person who sells or offers, exposes or holds in possession for sale in Canada maple sugar or maple syrup not complying with the standards prescribed by this bill shall be deemed to be guilty of a violation of the act. Any small farmer with a few gallons of maple syrup is forbidden to sell it unless it stands the test set out in the bill. How is the small producer going to test his syrup by these standards?
