Mr. McMILLAN:

I have shown conclusively that notwithstanding the remarks of the hon. leader of the opposition the party opposite have increased the duties two and one-half times more than has this government. There is no doubt that the Prime Minister and his cabinet in introducing the present budget have taken the steps they should have taken in order to represent the feeling of the great majority of Canadian electors.
