1. Mr. Giroux was retained in the usual manner to supply the Director of the Northwest territories and Yukon branch of this department with any legal advice he might require while visting the Northwest territories and the Yukon territory, and to assist in the revision of the Northwest territories ordinances. His retainer calls for pay only for days employed on this business which is not finally concluded. Remuneration is at the rate of S50.C0 per day.
