Mr. MANION:

My hon. friend the Minister of Railways says, "hear, hear." I am very happy to agree with him that increased production has taken place, but of that increased production, $304,000,000, practically half of it, was in what are called the primary industries; that is, agriculture, mining, forestry, fisheries, trapping and electrical power, over which even my hon. friend the Minister of Railways will admit that no government has any particular control.
