Hon. Mr. MOTHERWELL:

A resolution approving the principle of marking all imported eggs so as to indicate country of origin was accepted by parliament last session, and the government is naturally desirous of carrying out the wishes of parliament generally. It would not, however, seem desirable that action should be taken in this respect during the present session.
