Mr. SPEAKER:

From the information I
can gather, this motion refers to a certain appropriation for the merchant marine which has been dealt with by the standing committee on Railways and Shipping. I understand that this item has been passed upon by the eommitteee, but that it has never been referred to the committee of Supply. I understand that there will be an Interim Supply bill, and in order to put things in shape, this report should be referred to the committee on Supply, in order that the amount may be included in the Interim Supply bill.
