It is in the file, I can find it. But in those days it was impossible for them to agree as to what berth should be given in exchange, and it was impossible to agree with the Department of the Interior under my hon. friend; so that a compromise was made under those circumstances. I was anxious to know something about the matter, by reason of the fact that these gentlemen were part of a syndicate residing in
