Mr. DESLAURIERS (Translation):

I
wish to inquire if the government has the intention of amending the present act regarding the exportation of electricity to other countries and if there is any truth in this rumour.
Hon. GEORGE P. GRAHAM (Minister of Railways and* Canals): In the absence of the Minister of Trade and Commerce (Mr. Low) I may say the matter of in any way modifying the statute in reference to the export of power has not been considered by the government.
