Mr. JONES:

What, if anything, was said by the Minister of Public Works during an interview in February last with Premier Veniot, of New Brunswick, which would justify the latter in saying that he was persuaded that the federal government would take over the wharves on the St. John river as reported in the Daily Telegraph on 24th February last?
