My attention was called to this by the Prime Minister and I referred the question to the Dominion Statistician. I have not yet received word from him. My impression is that enumerators have already been appointed and have been under instruction.
I have always thought it was only right that amongst the enumerators in French settlements of English-speaking counties, there should be gentlemen who understood the French language.
