Charles Arthur Gauvreau

Laurier Liberal

Mr. GAUVREAU:

As T do not see the Acting Minister of Naval Affairs, may I call the attention of the Acting Prime Minister to the fact that at present there are young Canadian officers and men who have been in the Imperial Navy since the beginning of the war and who have not, as far as I know, been given leave to visit their families in Canada. I suggest the advisability of approaching the Admiralty with a view to having leave granted these officers and men in order that they may visit those whom they have not seen from the beginning of the war.
