Sir WILFRID LAURIER:
By your leave. Mr. Speaker, I wish to direct the attention
of the hon. Minister of Naval Service to a despatch, published last Saturday, stating that the Rainbow had actually taken possession of a ship which, though Mexican in origin, as I understand, was chartered by a German company and was carrying a valuable cargo of sugar, copper and corn. May I ask if there is any truth in the information?
Subtopic: THE RAINBOW.
