Mr. LEMIEUX:

I have just read in the Mail and Empire the report of a meeting held on Sunday in Toronto to protest against the Home Rule Bill, and I see that my hon. friend from Toronto East (Mr. Kemp), was present. I have read his remarks as reported in the Mail and Empire, and I must say that I do not find much fault with what he said. But, as a resolution much more drastic than his remarks was passed at that meeting, I would ask the hon. gentleman to state to the House whether he represented himself or the Government on that occasion.
