Mr. Don Boudria (Glengarry-Prescott -Russell):

Madam Speaker, my question is also for the Acting Prime Minister.
On May 21 the Minister of the Environment claimed that the work oi Mr. David Small as a communications adviser and his work as a campaign manager did not overlap. The minister said: "There is no issue here". However, Mr. Small conceded over the weekend that he held both positions concurrently.

How can the government then justify the actions of the Minister of the Environment who rewarded his leadership campaign manager with taxpayers' money? Does the Acting Prime Minister still think that there is "no problem here"?
