The CBC policy in this regard is in line with that of other large Canadian corporations and government departments.2 Where the Corporation assigns an employee to a foreign location, a posting loan may be made to aid in the transition from Canada to the foreign country. The Foreign Service Directives of the Government of Canada apply to all such loans.
