Hon. Mark MacGuigan (Minister of Justice):

Mr. Speaker, of course 1 am prepared, as I have been, to discuss these questions with the Opposition and to be as accommodating as members of the opposition Parties are prepared to be. I should remind the Hon. Member that there are many parts of the Criminal Code Bill which are of the utmost urgency. For instance, the drinking and driving provisions are of extreme urgency. If she is suggesting that the only thing which matters in this whole piece of legislation is that one provision; let me indicate that we need all that Bill, not just parts of it.
