Charles Joseph Clark (Leader of the Official Opposition)

Progressive Conservative

Mr. Clark:

Since the job creation programs of this government have created less than one-half of the quarter million jobs forecast in the budget of last May, I ask the Acting Prime Minister if he and his colleagues are going to undertake an immediate review of the adequacy of job creation programs now in place, and whether they are seriously considering as an emergency measure the possibility of changing the priority of government projects that are already in the works, to give priority to those regions of Canada which are most directly affected by the shocking figures released today?
