Mr. BROCK.

What accommodation have we in the shape of immigrant buildings in this country to receive immigrants when they arrive ? We are spending a very large amount to bring them here, and if the accommodation is very poor when they

arrive, we lose a good deal of the advantages we would otherwise get from them. I have heard that immigrants who arrived in Winnipeg in the early spring were so badly accommodated that many became discontented with the country and went back to the United States. I would like to ask what accommodation wTe are providing In this country for those immigrants we are bringing in, not only from Europe but from the United States.
