Mr. Woolliams:

In light of the fact that in the same article it is reported that if the pipeline were built to join up with the Alberta Trunk gas line or to the lakehead, the one pipeline would cost $3 billion and the other would cost $5 billion, has the minister in his research or investigation considered whether Canada would have sufficient financial resources to put up the majority of the money to build the pipeline in question? Can he assure the country and the House in that regard at this moment?
