Mr. Speaker, I rise pursuant to Standing Order 43 to ask the unanimous consent of the House to propose a motion in the following case of urgent and pressing necessity. Because of the lack of boxcar allocation by the railway companies to meet the specified time of Wheat Board quotas, thus creating inability on the part of farmers to deliver their grain within the specified time, I move, seconded by the hon. member for Saskatoon-Biggar (Mr. Gleave): __ .
That the question of boxcar allocation by the CPR and CNR be referred to the Standing Committee on Agriculture and that the standing committee report to the House thereon by the end of the month.
