Mr. Speaker, my question is for the Prime Minister. In view of the widespread concern about reduced rail passenger services, escalating rail and truck freight rates and dissatisfaction with air carrier services, is the government considering a review of the responsibilities and powers of the Canadian Transport Commission to determine whether this body is performing the functions envisaged for it by Parliament when the National Transportation Act was passed?
