respect to pensions payable under the Pension Act is that, if an amputation was incurred during or attributable to wartime service, pension is paid under that act.
6. Statistics are not maintained of the total sum of pensions paid in federal constituencies. It is estimated that on March 31, 1968 there were 138,000 veterans resident in the Province of Quebec. The annual liability for disability pensions payable to veterans resident in Quebec on March 31, 1968 is estimated at $24,808,500.
