I should like to ask a question of the Minister of Finance. In view of the serious shortage of doctors as evidenced by the Hall Commission
May 11, 1965

report, and the fact that funds were sufficient for only 60 per cent of research projects at the University of Toronto, will the Minister of Finance urgently consider doubling the per capita grant so that researchers will be kept in Canada and our medical schools built up?
