Mr. L. E. Cardiff (Huron):

Mr. Speaker, I have had question No. 1,453 on the order paper under my name for the last three months. I was informed yesterday by the hon. gentleman that to answer this question would cost the government a great deal of money. The answer to this question was known to me before I put it on the order paper, but I wanted that answer confirmed by the government. If the government does not feel like doing that, then I am willing to drop the question.
