Mr. M. W. Martin (Timmins):

Mr. Speaker, I should like to direct a question to the Minister of National Health and Welfare. I regret not having time to give notice. In view of a report in the Ottawa Citizen of February 27 that the Canadian National 26207-1-86i
Supply-Forestry
Institute for the Blind in Winnipeg has been forced because of its deficit to increase room and board charges for old age pensioners to $55 from $45 a month, thus still leaving the old age pensioners with only about 33 cents a day, could the minister inform the house of the approximate date when the government proposes to introduce a measure to provide some real old age security and social justice for Canadians?
