Mr. H. J. Robichaud (Gloucester):

Mr. Speaker, I should like to direct a question to the Minister of Mines and Technical Surveys. In view of the statement made in the house nine months ago, on June 1, 1961 by his predecessor, the former minister of mines and technical surveys, to the effect that a formal statement will be issued as soon as it is possible to do so on the report of the interdepartmental committee for study and report upon the probable effect of the specific recommendations of the Rand commission, can the minister advise the house when we may expect such a report?
