PC

Edmund Davie Fulton (Minister of Citizenship and Immigration; Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada)

Progressive Conservative

Hon. E. D. Fullon (Acting Minister of Citizenship and Immigration):

Mr. Speaker, in view of the imminence of the completion of the federation of the West Indies, and other matters to which the Prime Minister

referred earlier this morning, we have been giving attention to the question of our relations with that area from the point of view of immigration. This matter is now receiving the attention of my officials, and will probably be the subject of conversations with the federation officials in the quite near future.
