Hon. James Sinclair (Minister of Fisheries):

Mr. Speaker, I have never made any written representations to any C.B.C. officials about either television or radio programs. However, the Department of Fisheries does collaborate with the C.B.C. in supplying material for the daily fishermen's broadcasts which are heard over C.B.C. stations in Halifax, St. John's and Vancouver at seven a.m. each morning. When I have visited these fishing ports I have met the producers of the programs, discussed the programs with them and conveyed to them the very warm appreciation of fishermen on both coasts for this splendid public service.
