The PRIME MINISTER.

The hon. Postmaster General has gone to Australia for the inauguration of the first parliament of the Commonwealth. He has gone upon invitation, and therefore his first object is simply to represent Canada. He has no special instructions, but of course he is expected to have an eye to business, and to see what can be done to develop our trade relations with that country.
