The SOLICITOR GENERAL.

This item has been in the estimates for ten or fifteen years past. They have in the Canadian office in London a law library that is accessible to all Canadians who visit the High Commissioner's office in London. I can say from
personal experience that it is exceedingly convenient for us to have access in London to our own statutes and works of that sort. Those who visit London on business, especially professional men, find it very convenient to have such a library. It was inaugurated by the late Sir John Thompson, and has been of great service.
