Mr. G. T. Purdy (Colchesier-Hanis):

Mr. Speaker, I should like to direct a question to the Minister of Agriculture. Before I do so, however, I should like, on behalf of the farmers in my constituency specifically and in Nova Scotia generally, to thank him for the announcement he has just made in connection with freight rates on feed grain. My question is this. Are studies going forward with a view to extending the general provisions of the Maritime Marshland Rehabilitation Act to the interval land in our numerous river valleys?
