Hon. Alcide Cote (Postmaster General):

Mr. Speaker, I just received notice of the question my hon. friend has asked a few seconds ago. We have received some protests. I do not know what has been the result of the consideration given the question in the meetings held in the department with my officials, but I will be glad to look into the matter. I may say immediately to my hon. friend that the whole question has been given careful consideration in the best interests of the carriers' associations as well as the public.
