Hon. R. O. Campney (Associate Minister of National Defence):
So far as information has come to us in regard to our Canadian troops in Korea, there is no shortage of ammunition in respect of actual operations. I think it was said by the Minister of National Defence, on another occasion, that with respect to holding operations and retaliatory fire it is always customary to have a certain amount of rationing of ammunition. That is normal practice. But as far as actual operations are concerned, we have never been informed of any shortage of ammunition so far as the 25th brigade is concerned.
